Tiny house expert and designer Kristie Wolfe created fairy Hobbit Home in Hobbit House micro-community, located in Chelan, Washington. Hobbit village is built into the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge mountainside in a hidden area and could easily be overlooked at first glance.
Enjoy in beautiful getaway in cozy and secluded Hobbit village
Visitors reach the small garden through a wattle fence and gate, and enter the home via a round door that Wolfe made from a large spool of cable. Hobbit house has all the facilities necessary for a comfortable stay.
The interior design riffs on the concept that it’s actually home to a Hobbit carpenter, and little touches include cordwood floor, bespoke lighting, and even a woodworking bench and tools to whittle wood.
Construction is special as buildings must be super sturdy to withstand the weight of being buried. Reverently framed by the iconic round doorway, the entrance will ignite your imagination and inspire an unforgettable journey. Otherwise, these fairytale homes are not classified as complex works as was noted in one of the previous articles.
