Trugs basket

Crafted by the English designer Jane Crisp, Trugs is a handsome steam-bent basket inspired by traditional boat-building techniques and copper fixings. As Jane says: “The inspiration for these practical objects comes from Norfolk reeds & draws on my creative personal connections with local heritage & low tech processes.”

The decorative object is simply made of natural materials: brass and wood. Although produced in batches, the resulting designs retain the quality of the bespoke designs Crisp is known for. Trugs is available in oak, cherry, and ash.
