This amazing house, located in Chile, is built on the principles of using unique and original materials according to the architects at Estudio Valdés. The wooden walls with different colour schemes make each room unique and in a way promote healthy living. The concrete fireplace in the living room along with great attention to details makes it a well-thought-out area where people like to gather. The antique coffee table made of dark wood creates a rustic appeal, complementing the generally light interior.

The heart of the house – the kitchen – follows the same warm and natural design of the rest of the house. With lots of cabinets and numerous shelves it really makes use of the space available. By using light coloured wood, the designers were able to create a bright and positive kitchen that is a joy to use.
Roughly sanded old wooden doors indicate the design of the interior
Each room has large floor-to-ceiling windows that offer plenty of natural light and amazing views of the surrounding area. The open layout of the rooms and glass walls lend a spacious feel and give the impression of rooms blending together. Even the stairs in the passage make an impression with their simplicity.
For the exterior of the house, wood with darker tones was used along with special wooden detailing. The roughly sanded old wooden doors indicate the design of the interior and beautifully complement the dark wooden facade.
