Even though this week’s cabin is not located in the forest, it is definitely worth sharing. The hotel is attached to the side of a cliff, 1,312 meters above the beautiful Sacred Valley in Cusco, Peru, and therefore not suitable for people with vertigo.
The location cannot be reached by a car and that is what makes it so special and unique. In order to stay in such a hotel one needs to have an adventurous and sport spirit as it is almost impossible to reach it without climbing equipment.

However, the location is not accessible only to experienced rock climbers as Nature Vive Skylodge has created a ‘via ferrata’ – a mountain path with a permanently-installed safety system – that allows virtually anyone to reach the extreme hotel.
Once inside the Cliffside Capsule Hotel one can enjoy a unique experience and extensive views of the natural paradise. To make it even better, four ventilation ducts let in the fresh mountain air.
Construction is made up of three transparent capsules built from an aerospace-grade aluminum frame and weather-resistant polycarbonate. Translucent walls allow visitors to enjoy an almost 360-degree view of the Sacred valley, and direct contact with the rock and the precipice below so staying is not recommended for the Faint-of-Heart.

The hotel can accommodate up to 8 people. It is equipped with 4 beds, a bathroom and a small dining area. Minimalist but high quality furniture is more than enough.
Nature Vive Skylodge hotel is perfect for people who are fed up with the classical vacation and are eager for new extreme adventures.
