A safe deposit box is not something we would typically want to put on display because of its wonderful and inviting design. The Utrecht-based furniture designer Stephan Siepermann might change that.
The modern wooden safe box named mr.knox is a funny interpretation of a typical steel safe box. This new wooden design makes it easily adaptable to a variety of interiors. The clock gears on the front side are provocative for anyone wanting to take a closer look. The safe box can even be made into a liquercabinet by adding max. 7 bottleboards for wine bottles, in total storing 42 wine bottles.
The CNC cut gears fit together perfectly, making it as effective as the steel variation. According to Stephan Siepermann, the safe box is 99,9% safe and it is delivered with a ‘gold’ bar of 99,9% oakwood.
The standard size of mr.knox is 60 x 120 x 45cm and is made of 15mm laquered birch plywood.
It is also available in other colours (dark walnut, blue grey, black, light grey, teak)
